um i kknow what cycleing is, and my tank IS cycled. and i just tested the water and have 0 ammonia now....

In 2 hours?... A) your initial test was wrong. or B) Your lying.

If your fish are/where flashing, and gasping then it is likely ammonia burn. And your lying. or they have an actual disease, in which case in under 2 hours it is unlikely that the flashing would have stopped. as pointed out quick cure if anything will harm your bio-capacity, and can cause an ammonia spike on there own. Your tanks bio is compromised, thus unstable. Hence it not being "Cycled"

Cycled tanks do not show Ammonia, Ever. Ammonium on the other hand is often not tested for, and can build up in systems that do not receive regular water changes. Temperature spikes in the high 80's low 90's can turn it to toxic Ammonia again. But this is a rare occurence ime.

um yesterday my ammonia was .25 and today when i took the gravel out and cleaned up the debris, ammonia came to 0....

well at the current rate 1 Killo Watt Hour (1000 watts over a 1 hour) is about 12 cents. so if you do the math your filter running for 48 hours uses close to 1000 watts which is 1 KWH which cost 12 cents. you light prob is a max of 100 watts if it is the run of the mill dual t12 light. so your tank is running total of around 375 watts. so with that said I believe it would cost around 20 or so bucks to run you set up a month.

the heater is the biggest consumer. It by itself cost about 10 dollars a month.
