Hi Guys,

just a quick one, there is a shark at a local fish shop names a dolphin Hammerhead Shark. It is very similar looking to the ID shark however it has a different shaped fin and slightly darker, also very very agressive compared to the laid back ID shark.

thanks for any help / information in helping me to my purchase of this.

Sounds like Ageneiosus vittatus. Grows to about a foot. As to the name the store posted it as, ...anyone can name a fish. Especially one like this that has no official common name.

Not sure about that one, I know of people who have had them and are 2 foot + , they eat meat only seemingly and are pretty cool. Also I am located in Scotland if anyone from here has came across them before!

See. That's what happens when you provide only snippits of information. Look up Paroon shark (Pangasius sanitwongsei) and see if you have a match. Can't wait to see your tank if it can house one of these monsters. They'll reach nearly 100" (250cm).

Well I have a 5ft x 3ft x 3ft tank my Terrapins are in, however they will be going into an outside pond now they are 2 years old so this tank will be empty. The fish is around 2" at moment so very small.

You're going to need a much larger tank than that. These cats require larger spaces than more sedentary catfish species because of their activity level. A pond roughly 25ft across would be needed to comfortably house these cats.
