Thanks guys I may try to put a cpl of different fish in with the male. I am not going to try breeding again until I move into my house. I saw a nice pike in a store a week or so ago maybe he will be next.

She put up one helluva a fight and lasted a cpl of days. Alas she succumbed to her injuries overnight. I found her when I got up for work this am. She was my first jag and I am going to miss her greatly. As you can she she was really battered.

And I always thought I was a manly man, this here post brought a tear to my eye. Sorry for your loss.

When I came to respond to this thread, I was ready to provide you with a domestic violence hotline. Glad it wasn't the case. Sorry about the jag, though. Losing fish is hard.

After my female jag was killed off, I traded the male jag in for something else...I was fond of the female more so than the male.
