Don't buy the wrong nightcrawlers!

Local bait shop... 2.5$ a doz for nightcrawlers. and they're jumbos. or 3$ for 2 doz "baby crawlers" or Petsmart... but they're 4.99$ a doz or something crazy like that. Fleetfarm also sells 'em here, seasonal though =/

I pay $3 per 2 dozen "Canadian Trout Worms" at my local bait shop. The fat night crawlers go for $3 per dozen. Very clean, no green dyes ;P

Hit up your local bait shop if possible. They're bout $2/doz here for monster nightcrawlers.

I couldnt find any regular ones.. Only these ones and some garlic ones. There weren't many options at the one I went to..

same here in my walmert they have 24 Canadian nightcrawlers in a box for like 3 bucks ... usually sold out through

i buy in bulk from my LBS (local bait shop). I think it comes out to be about 2$ per dozen.

the green worms are green because they eat the bedding which has food that turns them green
i wouldnt feed my fish that
id go in the backyard

haha i used to use those all the time(for fishing) until the party store that i got them at stopped selling them...they really arent any different than normal crawlers imo

Do you just plop them in the tank or do you soak them in water or something first to purge the crap out of them?
