Don't get stranded in the Antarctica...get direct TV

Direct tv is awesome. The satellite has better speeds now so its harder for it to completely lose signal. I live in a neighborhood that has few trees and is insanely windy and I maybe lose signal a few times a year for an hour or less at a time. For instance right now there's 14" of snow on the ground and 30mph steady winds with even faster gusts and no signal loss or pixelation.

Been subscribed for 3 years and every year they try and raise the price and I simply call and remind them every bill has been paid on time and I'm considering dish network and suddenly my bill is back down to 70$. That's a genie and extra receiver, all HD and every other option you can have. Not bad IMO!

Hahaha thats hilarious, my ma would do the same thing and wed get 6 months of free hbo or a discount haha

Krich, what did she hate about it? I havent had any issues really, other then the box randomly reseting once in a blue moon

I don't remember what her issue was with it...I only recall her not having it for very long before she switched back to Comcast.

comcast has never lost signal for us. Plus we have a tivo, so we record everything we need
