Just stay away from the monster cats tsn rtc there are tons of great med sized cats you can keep your aro with tigrinus, lima, juruense ONLY if the aro is a 10'' 13'' +and the cats are small. Or get a 30'' silver and a 600g then you may be able to play with big cats .

Thanx again badfish.So you think a Juruense and some Jaguar cats along with a Megalodras would be fine together with the Aro. By the way I appreciate all the help. If ever I can help you let me know. I'm real good at identifying catfish and got some general knowledge about treatin naked cats when they're diseased. Also know a little about Stingray's. My specialty is predatorial cats though. Oh just to update more than 24 hours have passed and still no regurgitation by the Gulper guess it wasn't too much for him after all.

Alright I accidently fed my Aro to a Gulper. Now the Gulpers are goin to be moved to their own tank. I really liked the Leichtardi an the way he looked in my tank. Now I know if I get another he'll be fine with most of my cats. However I've got a 10" hybrid in that tank an wanna know if I get another Aro will he be okay wit him. I mean the Hybrid doesn't even eat feeders, but obviously I've been wrong before. Tell me what ya think, no more $130 feeders. Seriously help.

do not keep any fish wit cats unless the fish is at least twice the size of the cat's mouth in terms of body broadness/width.

that will keep your $130 feeders safe.

Thanx IoStrisciare that was the real problem. The Aro was too thin. If I had a 10-12" it wouldn't have happened.

...the Gulper only cruises at night my guess being that like most cats their predatory nature comes out at night.

That's exactly right...especially with gulpers. They use a fish's flee defense against them. They find a resting fish, quietly "waddle" infront of them, open that HUGE mouth and the prey actually swims right into the predators stomach.

Thanx Badfish I see what your gettin at. It's just not worth the risk. Tell me what would be some suitable tankmates for the Leichartdi. Would my Jaguars, Trachys, Megalodoras and Juruense be good companions.

I have Megalodoras cats in with my aros and have never even had anything close to an incompatibility issue. I'm actually shopping around for a Juruense to add with them too.

i have a big Alexandrii cat with my aro's ( although those are much bigger than the cat )..one cannot trust these cats...
