If you are keeping the BGK you are fully stocked maybe add some barbs but that is it. You will see the best of your fish if you don't crowd them.
You could build around just your EBJD. However they are fish that spend allot of time hiding so you want something that wont challenge or intimidate the EBJD. I would do one of the following
EBJD and 3 or 4 Rainbow Cichlids. - the blue and yellow would look good together and rainbows dont hide as much.
EBJD and a school of cherry barbs or red sword tails - Cherry barbs get a really nice red they are a favorite of mine and I recommend sword tails as JD's are often surrounded by live bearers in the wild. (parrots get to big and could harass your EBJD)
