i would suggest to investing in some industrial grade dehumifiers i got some real cheap from a local company that cleans up after disasters. might be worth looking into for the futere

Not really worth it for us. We are taking the tank out come spring.

I can totally empathize w/ your situation. We had a situation where our pool flooded into our basement. I mopped the living daylights out if it and ran fans non stop days along w/ the dehumidifier. Good luck on getting everything cleaned up.

After my house caught fire, I had mostly water damage. Ripped out all the drywall and insulation. Sucked. Men typically want to fiddle, fix, upgrade, redo, or whatever. Very typical male thing to do. I very often have to ask myself "does this tank really need this, or is it really fine?" When I was breeding clowns, I discovered that the simplest setup was the best, and the more I fiddled with it, the less I got out of it. In other words, "if it ain't broke don't fix it!"
Btw, I lost my clowns in the fire. Had 10 breeding pairs I think, and a couple thousand fry. Sucked.

Like someone said, at least it was in the basement. Can you imagine up stairs! :(

Good luck getting everything cleaned up. Tell your man he owns you a 48" fan

Then when its finished drying out the basement, you guys can make a.... Wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man!

Yikes- how are your fishies btw?

The fish are doing well. All issues have been cleared up, and they have been located back to the big tank.
