This is great, Casey is amazing for standing up for himself like that and imo should of received no punishment. There were never fights like this at my highschool. Lots of wussy slapboxing matches, this was just awesome.
It did look as if the little guy hurt his leg as he met with the concrete but that's how the cookie crumbles.The kid looked like he knew how to throw a decent punch and he could have broken the other kids nose or busted his lip....Casey had a right to defend himself as best as he knew how.Fat Homer;4967447; said:
My kid got picked on in 3rd grade. 2 boys were pulling her around by her hood during reccess. Teacher told them to stop, they didn't. After recess, one of the bully boys had to go past her desk to get to his seat. As he passed by her desk, she got up and followed him a few feet. Then she grabbed him and bodyslammed him to the floor. 
Her teacher had been looking out his window during recess so he knew why she did it. The only bad part is that the blackboard tray, that aluminum 3" tray to hold the chaulk, was an extreme near miss. They both were snet to office, along with other one that did the reccess bullying. They did not ever pick on her again. She's now a Senior.
