Thanks guys. I'll be up there again on Monday for our engagement shoot...though I won't be the one taking the photos I'll be in them.
I tried to climb Mt. St Helens last April after a 4' snowfall night (permits are required from May 1 till October sometime). My car could only get 4 miles from the trail head so we had an additional 8 miles of snowshowing...we didn't make the summit (lost the trail above the tree line and were worried about avalanches) but it was pretty sweet! Have you been to the Ape Caves by St. Helens?
Justin, I'm planning a trip soon up to Vancouver/Portland. I need to go to a beer store, fishing rod building store, military surplus and rafting store, fish store (Wetspot) and I want to come take some photos...now that's a MAN trip. Besides the fish store...
it's been years since i've gone but in my teens i probably went to ape caves every other year. out here alot of people i meet haven't even heard of it so i'll def be rounding some of my buddies up and making them take the underground trek.
snowshoeing st helen sounds like a blast. not to get sentimental but i bet it'd be so pretty up there blanketed in white
