of course I quarantine the feeders, I just didnt know a bass could get lock jaw

oh sorry im not thinking right I do quarentine feeders, but the smelt I caught was from my backyard saltwater lagoon, I was told by this little pet store a couple blocks away form my house that I didnt need to quarantine the smelt because all the parasites would just die in the freshwater, is this right or wrong? even if its wrong I only feed them smelt maybe once a month

It was labelled as an ST at connies but it was a NTT same price as an NTT though so it didnt really matter
