I am going up to exchange a brand new emperor for the 3rd time. Third times a charm. On one the impeller bushings fried in 10 minutes and got horribly loud. On the second it didnt even turn on!!!!

Have had just as many problems with AC.

Seriously wanting to go back to two penguins.
 
I have the same one rated for 55 gallons on my 29 gallon tank. Water is always crystal clear, no problems at all for about 4 months now. Its so quiet i always wonder if i remebered to plug it back in after a waterchange.
