When i was asking about license/car, i was going to suggest selling the fish and equipment (seems like he's got quite a bit of money in equipment there) and getting a ride but thought i'd get flamed for it so i didn't. Glad other people feel the same way.

Best of luck LBF

I sympathize with LBF but even moreso I sympathize with the people here offering sage advice...

I want to just remind everyone that the person that created this thread has several different mental ailments. I do not mean this in a mocking way - I mean it in the sense that we are hearing what is almost guaranteed to be a skewed, misunderstood and just wrong side of the story.

You're literally offering support to a situation that we will never understand and to someone who does not care about what is being said around him.

As he said from the beginning, this is just a rant. Nothing more, nothing less...

Check please.

Im sorry but i have to agree with Madding.

well there making a gordy county market in my town ( taking over IGA ) and should be open by winter. i put in aplication in today and talkin to DVR about getting me in right away. so hoply i get it! and its in my town to!

Good luck with the job LBF, and regardless of if it's skewed or whatever, I wish you the best with that job. IMO maybe sell a tank or two to raise money, then after you get a job and a place start the hobby again :)

I've got an idea. I'd say get rid if your fish because it's too much work right now.
You say you don't want to get rid of them, but you know a lot of people on this site right?
So maybe someone will take care of them, while you take care of the things you need to do. Then when your life is stable, you take your fish back.

well for one, fish keeping keeps my axiety in order and helps lower my depression and anger. and im just to involved and loving fishkeeping to much! cant even see myself without a fishtank!

When you find yourself in a hole, you should stop digging. If you can't stop digging get used to the hole;)

Your love or addiction to your tank(s) is getting you deeper in the hole you find yourself in. Get used to it.

well i just got the ok to get a 40 breeder next week ( may be the following week cause my grandparents have the fleamarket for the weekend ) but it will either be stored in the basement behind the woodstove or somewhere in my room. ill most likly beable to set that tank up if my aunt moves out ( if im still here by then )

LFB, seriously dude, if your in a (financial) hole, stop making it deeper coz its only going to get worst... Even i had a few habits there were costing me a fair bit which i really enjoyed but decided to give up on just to make sure i had enough money left over each month to save up...

Some times just coz we enjoy it now doesn't mean we have to go overboard on it since at the end of the day its just not worth it, especially not in the long run when you could be putting that money towards things that can help improve your way of life...

And as i mentioned before, running and feeding fish costs money, and the more tanks you run the more money it costs to maintain...
