x2!

Hydor makes a wicked "inline" heater for use with canister filters. ALMOST no risk of shock, its an electric piece of equip. so ANYTHING can happen but I've yet to see or even hear of one breaking . . .in any form or fashion. . . .anyone?

all heaters are fragile and need to be inspected and treated carefully when moving them ect . i had an expensive one explode the chord right out of the heater housing the second i plugged it into the wall. the trick is to have some kind of earth leakage detector or saftey switch so you dont fry your fish or yourself.

i havent used heaters this whole year my water stays at 80 lol

water tanks in the same room... If some ppl are lucky and have fish rooms with all 80F liking fish then they can just heat the room and have a few drum of treated water ready to go when doing water changes... thats what i would do.. But i have to stay ive only had small heater fail on me... the just stright up stop working but i have a few jag that are 8 or so years old and still kick but ... might be even older too
