When you look at your tank and see no fish lol

I have

4 leopard ctenopoma
2 sens
3 rope fish
1 akf
1 abf

in a 75 gal tank. none of them are huge but none of them are babies either

and in the middle of the day, after morning feeding and before it gets dark outside, you would be lucky to see more than one fish lol.

makes me want just stuff more polys in there

Definitely get more fish...though I'm guessing you're going for an African theme so I can't think of any obvious choices.

Lets see the tank an all the hiding spots.

that why i try to add some kind of cichlid to my tanks all ways out we'll at least most of the time

I thought you were going to say, Don't you hate it when you look at your tank and see no fish, because someone ate them.

x2

I'm using a small group of red sevs as the guest pleasers

But most times I'm surprised by how fascinated people are with the bichirs, even when they're in a sluggish mood.

I've found that when I added mollies and swordtail (dithers) then my fish came out more. I have bichirs, Leopard Ctenopoma, and African Butterfly fish, and they wouldn't come out much until I got some dither fish. Now they come out... unless company comes over:irked:

Well that's all good until they EAT the dithers :) My senegal is always out swimming around (probably on the prowl for food, greedy little bugger). Seriously, back and forth all day right in the middle of the tank. Maybe he thinks he's a giant danio?
