What is the go with dats being $56 in NZ and $200 in Oz???
Wow really?! For one there's something that makes me want to stay here...
Thats the cheapest I've ever seen them, and they were pretty small. They're usually around $100 for 1.5-2.5"

56 bucks for an indo? cheap? am i missing sumthin here?

lol you know the $10-$20 1 inch indo's showing up all over the US recently?

Well they came into australia illegally as well..... for around $150-$200 a piece :irked:

Hey dave what are the live import laws like in NZ? they would be an illegal import wouldn't they?

If they are thats what i don't understand... the NZ dollar is weaker than the australian, the indo's would have to be freighted the same distance if not more to NZ yet their at least double the price here

Our import laws are BS as far as I'm concerned. Instead of having a list of potential problem fish that aren't allowed, there is a list of fish that are allowed to be imported. Its a pretty incomplete list, and there's a lot of stuff thats not on the list thats already here because it was imported before the regulations got strict, or because they were mis-identified.
Did the recent saga with the GE glow danio's make the news over there??

Hey Ish happens sometimes it's in your favor!

if you paid us$100 you would have been ripped off

at us$56 you got let off light but still a nice fish :D

56 New Zealand dollar (NZD) = 39.3761 US dollar (USD)

1 NZD = 0.703145 USD --------- 1 USD = 1.42218 NZD

still pretty expensive if compare to Canada for an IT
