Anybody for see problems with any of these fish for tankmates with dorado's measuring 10"-14" or am I just asking for trouble and chaos?

30" black arowana
15" Vittatus
15" Armatus
20" RTG arowana
Adult rays and possibly pups before I can scoop them out.
large wide bar silver dollars
Large Red hook silver dollars
8" Golden Mahseer's

My Franciscanus causes more trouble then my Brasiliensis. Guessing your chances of it working would increase if you can find a true Brassy.

Masheers mite be an issue, anything that will do laps with the dorado will get pushed. Definitely a sight to see that much movement in a tank though. :)

Have a back up plan ready and give it a go, it's the only way to know.

The only thing that swims constant is the black aro and the mahseer. The wide bars hover near the bottom along with the redhooks. The vittatus is usually parked and swims rarely and mostly just when it's feeding time due to his companion being a 20" RTG. The mahseer's I had to put back in the grow out tank as a ray took the head off one so when they are big enough they will go in one of the bigger tanks with a dorado so they may be a problem due to their constant swimming? I have a chance to get 2 dorado but they would be going in separate tanks as they don't like each other. So one would be with the Wide bars, black aro, rays and armatus. The other would be with rays,RTG,Vittatus,FRT and eventually red hooks and mahseer.

All this dorado talk makes me want to snatch one up lol

Agree to disagree.......

I think if you ask most ray keepers they will agree. No different then Armatus or ATF. I think it would take unique circumstances like a monster sized, huge, fish and a little bitty pup swimming mid water at just the right time.

I don't think the monster Dorado H20 had for like 10 years ever even messed with any small rays.
