dorado with a mouthful

To awnswer some of your questions. yes the dorado did try to eat the exodon and only got it half way down and spit it out but the exo lived. the dorado and red devil use to go at it all the time but i think they figured it was worthless so now they dont bother each other and the pike has his own corner were he sticks too cause when he comes out the dorado makes a go at him and as far as the rest of the fish the dorado must not see them as a threat and doesnt bother them such as small pike cichlids and synadontis catfish,loiselli,lepo. I got him at rms aquaculture in cleveland but it took me forever to find one. i lucked up when i called there and they had 3 on sale for 17.50 each so i bought them cause they said they only get them about 2 times a year but anywere else i have found them that size on websites they usally want 75-80.00. i had 2 more that my friend has now but im about to get one back he outgrew the other 2 by 5 inches. hes like 15 inches but soon to be back in my hands. hes in a 125 for now and will eventually go in my 220. no i didnt put the fahaka and dorado together wldfya. I was afraid my dorado would kill em him like he did the smaller one so i put him in my 75 gallon. thx for asking and glad u guys like.
Dorados are definitely next on my list of fish to get! Nice dorado focker! Good job on raising it up.
