Dovii And Labiatus

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Smokin dovii, hella! What size tank is he in? Looks like a bigger version of my male hella.

He is in a 180, just put down the deposit for his next tank. It's 96" X 32" X 24". He is over due for a larger tank. I had a 360 gallon that was to big to get in my basement so I had to sell that and get another tank built.

Not only is he a beautiful Dovii but much respect to you for properly taking care of this beast and providing for him properly which is why this Dovii is so BEAUTIFUL!!!!

The one with a good amount of black has some pretty neat coloration and patterns.

I'm guessing that he's going to be the tank boss as well, if he isn't already. Nice collection of fish, Nick.

Great new pick ups!!!:) pictures are nice also

Thanks, I've been debating on what Amph. to get for a long time. There are still a few different species I would like to get. I'm glad I settled on these guys, very nice fish and entertaining group to watch. What's been up with you? Don't seem to be one here much anymore, anything new?

Thanks, actually pecking order has been changing overtime, as you would expect. That one and the other with a little black were the most confident early on. The solid orange guy is starting to hold his own and getting aggressive. Just feed them and he is starting to dominate the area he wants too. All three look like they are going to be the boss at one time or another. I am really hoping I can keep all of them and see what they become. It is impressive how much the solid orange guy has changed just over the last day. No longer is he letting any chase him or take what spots he wants. I have never actually seen a fish change his position in the pecking order after a couple weeks without some big change. He was the very timid submissive, times have changed.
