dovii and tankmates?

It makes a huge difference if you let aggressive fish grow up with tankmates....it allows all the fish to get used to each other and establish territories.....thats the only safe way and still depending on the fish, things could turn for the worse, but raising a young fish with its tankmates is certainly your best option....GOOD LUCK....;)

loaches and sd's would be dead in no time, I might try some vieja otherwise at first signs of aggro get rid of the other fish, i think a pair of dovii in a aquascaped 500 would look awesome

I've had a similar set-up like this the CLOWN LOACHES will be FINE if they are big enough TRUST me they can believe it or not take care of themselves I've PERSONALLY seen them and kept them with 13-17in. CA/SA cichlids NO PROBLEM AT ALL

they have eye spurs and no how to use them they will do fine I can assure you of that
