"ABOUT" 6 inches for the female and 6.5 - 7 for the Male, I dont have the nerve to get it into a net and measure the fish using a ruler for fear of injuring the fish when he trashes around, also the thing never keeps still near the front glass

Cartimar has changed for the better in recent years... MORE SHOPS !!!.

Flowerhorn has pretty much taken over the shops. But there are still several stores that sells exotics cichlids. Sadly the Dovii and the rest of the large Central american guapotes are hard to come by as there a difficult item to sell as they not as pretty compared to other fishes when juvenile.

Thanks..was finally able to measure him last night as he was sitting still in front of the glass, he is exactly 6 and 7/8 of an inch. He would be exactly 7 inches by the time you read this
