Well this is my first post...

I had a 6x2x2.5 tank with a 7 inch Dovii, 4 inch Jag, 4 x 2 inch clown loaches, 4 x small crayfish and a 11 inch common pleco. The Dovii as it was living at my LFS in a 1.5 x 1.5 for at least 3 months after being returned for a being an ass! All the other fish I have had for 3 months and the Dovii for 2.

All was well in the tank until two days ago and the Dovii has decided he hates everyone and wants everyone to die! I now have a Dovii and a Pleco and a Jag (jag living in my sump).

Below are some pictures. IPhone pictures sorry.

Here are my questions:

1. Should I remove the Pleco from the main tank?
2. What is the sex of my fish if you can tell?
3. Is the Dovii incapable of living with anything else now?

Thanks in advance,

1.The pleco will probably be fine. Unless you see serious wounds on the pleco he'll be fine in that tank
2.the pics didnt work
3. dovii are one of (if not the most) aggressive cichlid known to man. They get big and will kill just about all tank mates once they hit the 8" mark. I think you should either return the dovii or return the jag because those fish will end up killing eachother and since the dovii is bigger that jag wont stand a chance.
Also, welcome to MFK!

no that pic didn't work and here is a male dovii

not my fish or picture

Thanks,

That is what I was thinking/hoping. I don't think I am willing to risk re-introducting her to the main tank. I guess I have a Dovii tank now.

How long will it take for the fins on the Jag to heal up?
