Dovii colouring....

My 3-3.5 in female dovii is already bright gold. If I can get a good pic of her I'll post it. Heres a bad pic. I don't think you'll be able to see her color though.

Females can be hit or miss.. I got lucky with mine.. she's gorgeous and getting more colorful every month.

Nice fish....!! Wish I could get some decent photos, but I reckon my baby might be a male, he doesnt have the black markings around the gill plate that your 3.5" female does.

If your talking about the marbled pattern then it's actually unusual for a female to have that marking.. post a pic of yours.
