Dovii cuts 6 inch pleco in half

What happened to the back half? Did it get eaten?

Good question... was it a snack or murder? Dovii are nasty ... I didn't know a cichlid could do that to a pleco.

Why don't you remove all the other fish before they are all killed. It's only a matter of time.

Eventually.... I need them to make the dovii comfortable, he seldom goes out of the cave when he was alone.

Their bala skarks are fine, not the best situation for them, but their able to escape most of the attacks.

impressive, my VATF big one of my kelberi pbass in half. interesting that its always the front half that gets left. Even when I kept piranhas, the piranhas would eat the tail half n leave the head half

Whoa.. My Male dovii is about 6-1/2 inchesand already has one pleco murder under his belt but nothing like that.. He went great white shark on that poor bastard! That is crazy. Awesome fish.
