Dovii Diet Discussion Thread

my small dovii about 2in will eat anything in the tank pellets of any type earthworms meal worm crickets and flys or spiders from around the house that i catch for him though not sure that insects are good for them if anyone know would like some feedback on that subject

I'm glad I searched this topic...my dovii recently stopped eating NLS (his staple) and I couldn't figure out why. He takes frozen Silversides (normally just a treat) without hesitation, and the staple blend I offer the other fish (Hikari Gold and Staple plus TetraVeggie pellets all mixed together), but suddenly completely refuses NLS.

I'm glad it's not an unheard of situation!

my dovi is really finally starting to take off in growth. He eats monster pellets , nightcrawlers, hikari , the odd blood worm treat and bugs I find around the house. Not to mention he loves cat scrapers .... strange little guy

Mine eats Night crawlers , Hikari cichlid staple , NLS , Hikari massivore , Hikari sticks , Hikari Bio Gold and DIY food I prepared......not a messy eater....well behaved till now and at 7 inches...living with his girl
