Dovii eating mice???

I know that it is unhealthy to feed your Dovii feeders from the local fish store or walmart, but what about mice? I saw someone feeding their Silver Arrowana mice on you tube. Is it possible to feed mice to large Dovii? Also how about eathworms, and feeders from a bait & tackle shop??

Generally I'd steer away from feeding higher life forms to lower ones, but whatever floats your boat. I'm sure he'll eat whatever will fit in his mouth, I am unsure how healthy it will be for him though.

The worms are fine, as far as mice I'm not sure. Your Dovii's crap after eating the mice might not be too good....

Stay away from mice.. worms are great for Dovii though

mice aren't even close to their natural diet, i wouldn't do it

i think it's not a good idea. i try and keep my fish eating other fish that I breed ( mostly con's) but other then that, shrimp, squid, mussles, clams, oysters, fish fellets, veggie pellet, and meat pellets.

What about the feeders and worms from the local bait & tackle shop?

Only thing I would use from the baitshop would be worms, some of their minnows has weird growths on their bodies.

My Dovii used to eat mice, he never did digest it fully, so I stopped.
