Dovii eating mice???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
In all seriousness, fish have a pretty hard time digesting mammalian protein and lipase based fats, so I'd advise you to avoid feeding any kind of animal matter to your fish.

Fish contain very little fat, so if your looking to feed protein rich foods, look towards silver sides (can get them from your LFS pretty easy) beef heart (contains no fat, but only feed tiny amounts) and chicken livers (full of irons and minerals, but no real fat... cause gout in humans though :) )

sounds messy and risky health wise. not a good idea, dude.

nah dont do it, could be fatal could choke on bones and die...

i mean, i don't think a frat and high school are the same thing.

you must be in a frat.

I'm in a frat, myself, but its called the 101st Airborne Division.

We actually do stuff besides pay for friends, act like numbskulls, and try to impress drunk jackasses and whores with stupid anticts.

I thought choking involved having a windpipe to block, which isn't the case with fish.

I like feeding my fish pellets, and the occaisional mealworm, cricket, shrimp, krill, etc. It's a lot less complicated than feeders or live mice.

I was'nt really going to do it. I have a large Arrowana, a large albino Channel Cat, and a large female Dovii and I don't even feed them feeder fish. After I saw the clip on you tube, I just wanted to know what you guys thought about it, and if anyone ever fed mice to Dovii. Now if we were talking about giant Snakeheads, then the subject would have been feeder Rottweiller puppies.LOL:ROFL:
