Do you have any pictures of them by any chance? Never seen any thing but the juv. ( 1/2" ) of the Costa Rican variant.

The parents actually died about 6 months ago, well the female did ( shes in the freezer, I love to show off her teeth.). The male is at the LFS show tank b/c he was killing every female i put in with him, but there may be some pics in my old thread.

tried to catch some during the day time in a round pond. my friends said it was a hysterical site. At night its like plucking ducks since they are asleep they dont even move!
