imo crowding is not the solution as it only create smaller space for each fish and a bigger bio load for the tank
i wonder how a pair of fh exist and not kill each other. i cant do that even in a 75gal

two bigger tanks, and for now a cheap piece of egg crate from a hardware store will give you a sufficient divider without breaking the bank.

egg crate like they use in ceiling lights (home depot), cut it to your size, and suction cup the thing to the glass

this should be a better temporary solution than overcrowding

Overcrowding is definitely not a solution here , temporary solution is divider , but i am amazed that the Dovii has stood ground against the FH pair and has managed to grow till 7 inches.......you must have done a great job of feeding them real good stuff
