Dovii Male /female?

Can one of you Dovii experts cofirm my little thougts that these two are male and female. The larger of the two has blue speckling around its gills, black dots throughout its entire flank, and is getting very chunky. The Smaller one has no blue around the gills and has a solid line in middle of its flanks. The larger one is around 5 1/2 " and the smaller one is about 3". The larger one is growing at a much faster rate than the smaller one even though the smaller one is the more aggressive feeder.

The ones with the spots and the blue on gills are male the one with none are female
