the female should start to lay around 4'' and the male should be able to fertilize around 5 or 6'' and watch out they are ruthless killers but im sure you know this

So this morning I noticed her guarding eggs on a rock in the middle of the tank. Some were white but most are clearish brown. Guarding well but neither of them are being real aggressive? Tried to get a good pic but the spot she is in makes it difficult!
That is a spawn the milk white ones are "bad eggs" witch is normal in every spawn ,but the brownish clear are fertile very nice pair lets see some pics

Nice little pair you have there. Wait until the male turns into a 18"+ brute, then you'll be in for a real treat.
A few kinda show under her in the first pic. Ill try again when they start swimming. Right now they are popping around like popcorn!
