Dovii or black rhom more aggressive?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
dovi without a dought, but if they were to get in a fight and they were both equal size the dovi would still win

Rhoms are quite bigger, aren't they? They have real dangerous teeth. Nevertheless doviis are killers, too.

OKAY BY NO MEANS WILL I EVER DO THIS: The way to find out: Get a 600g tank with an opaque divider, keep one fish in each side for some time. Then release the divider. Each one will think the other is invading his territory.

Don't worry...I'm not gonna do it. I'll be glad if I ever get a 600 or 300g, and I wouldn't waste it. Heck, I'd be lucky to get a 55g

dovii get larger than rhoms. this has nothing to do with who will "win" but im betting its a toss up. to truely answer this question though we would have to study both fish in the wild under their normal behavior, something im betting most of us, if not all of us havent had the luxury to do.

yeah but in general dovii are more aggressive!

i've seen plenty of agressive rhoms, many of sissy rhoms, plenty agro dovii, many sissy dovii. in general dovii are known to be a very agressive fish, but MANY MANY are pansies when they are juvi's, this is the same for rhombeus.

dovii are known for being psychotic when it comes to feeding time. rhoms are a more mellow fish compared to dovii when feeding- but not all are. there's many factors and many differnet personality's and aggresion tendencies for these fish- as is with all animals in general.
