These are not jaguar or dovii. These are what they used to call loisellei, which now I believe are friedrichsthalli. The worming pattern on the forehead is what gives it away.
There is always a chance there was some mixing going on, so it's pretty much impossible to give a 100% ID on random lfs cichlids. But they are definitely parachromis, and of the parachromis, looks closest to the (loisellei) freddy.

Yeah I agree, as I thought from the first pics they look like Freddie's. I've never kept them myself but the multifaciatus I've seen from other people seem to have more of a bumble bee black and yellow color to them. One good thing is that they get big, but not crazy big, so they seem to be a bit more manageable as far as tank size.
