Did you mean to say that cichla would be to big for the tank?

Do you want other fish in the tank besides the dovii? If so get the cichla cause a dovii will eventually murder anything else.

Iv owned both fish so I would go pbass because you would be able to put other fish with them. The dovii is a really cool fish it will follow you around but they are really aggressive. They also splash and make a big mess when they see people they dont know.

from what i read cichla (peacock bass) would get to big for your tank.
