Dovii pair finally spawned for me. Just in time for my wedding!!!!

Thanks! Anyone have experience with Dovii? Do the eggs hatch around 3-5 days? I noticed 1 white egg this morning.

The male is not a protective as before and spends less time near the pot. However, he coaxes her if she ventures far from the pot.

Mine took about 1 week to hatch with.a water temp of 80°.

Mine just spawned the 5th time I have had problems with the male beating on the female untill she leaves the eggs. This time I have divided him so he cant get to the female and her eggs, it is day two.
She should start eating the ones that go white, I have always had about 20 percent turn white within 24hrs and the rest stay brown, but like I said i have had the eggs for three days and they were just about to hatch un till she eat them. Good luck
 
Congrats on the spawn and on the wedding BD! A lot going on.

I just got home from work this morning and also found a clutch of eggs from my newly acquired WC Umbee group.... Should have wigglers in a few days if all works out on my end.

I hope mine don't start eating them, but I wouldn't be surprised if the first batch is unsuccessful.

Thanks! Wedding is this Saturday, then we fly to Mexico for the Honeymoon. It's the 3rd and it appears the majority of the eggs are fertile. I expect to have wigglers by tomorrow.
