Dovii Pair quick pics

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
nice pair

when i first saw the female i immediately thought she was a CR and the male a Nic.

either way dude really nice female. she'll look great when 12" :)

well I am still not convinced but like I said I am not all the way sure either way. She is sweet though:D

would be cool if we could get some decent pics of the two different females both Nic and CR to compare on here. Does anyone have some decent pics hopefully around the same size fish or larger? Willing to find out and get to the bottom of it once and for all. It does not make a difference to me but would be cool to talk about and know for sure:)

Nice pair of Dovii! I agree that definately looks like a Heredia female. A couple of pics of my Costa Rican pair. They are alot more yellow than the Nicaraguan variant and the males seem to be more streamlined.

If my GF had her way our tanks would all have the same "fruity pebbles substrate" in them

hahah well she does not have a say in that for me but at least you have a full sized GT I see. My girl had to have these two instead:D

although I have to say I am not and never have been a big fan of the GT's they do not deserve their name as far as I am concerned. Sure I like a nice big male who wouldn't, but they are normally weak. These little stubs lol are at least very out going and have been more fun to watch than any normal GT I have ever owned hahah that might annoy some people but it's the truth so whatever:D

NOW BACK ON TRACK
I think you guys may be right but lets see some more pics to compair:naughty:

yeah the GT I picked out, the two oscars ended up in the tank by my gf picking them up since her son wanted them. But after her seeing how quickly they are growing it's gotten her to agree we needed bigger than a 75 gallon to house them when they grow up :nilly:

now back to our regularlly schedualed thread
