Thanks everyone. Ye he's getting worse and worse by the day and I'm loving it. Almost thought about trading him but always told myself one day hell snap lol. Use to be the biggest scardy cat I swear. Definantly worth the wait

IM so happy to see this guy acting like this. I bought a 110G last summer and purchased a new born dovii which I suspected to be a male because it was larger and a little more spotted then the rest with speckles on the lower jaw. Anyways hes super shy I bought him in August, hes now 6" and bolts to hide instantly in his tank alone.

Thanks!! Ya just be patient. I had to wait until he was a little over 10 inches. Having him at 1 inch and waiting this long I was debating trading him lool. Happy I didnt

Not to be a downer, and i love your dovii Jagster, but that spunk annoys the.**** out of me and have decided to sell my boy hate not being able to go close to the tank and worruing hes gonna mess him self up. Maybe.not all dovii are like that but to each is own, good luck.

I guess thats what i get for wanting a true monster that dosnt like to be caged!

They have two large specimens at tong's in huntington beach, Ca. Both are by far the most aggressive fish I have ever seen, you really don't want them to be that aggressive cause they hit the glass so hard, your afraid they are going to injure themselves. But truly makes you appreciate them for all they are. That is for sure.
