I have this tub that is 45"X40''X30'': roughly 230 gallons. I was wondering if it'd be possible to house a pair of dovii longterm in?

I have never kept dovii and I am not an expert on them but, that bin isn't even 4ft long. The female would have no room to escape a persistent male despite the floor space. I would say no. There just isn't enough length to that bin IMO. I think length is more important than width and height when it comes to centrals.

Ok, there is another larger bin i might be able to get my hands on, i'll get the mesurements up asap..

I asked my dad to get the dimensions if the larger tub, but apparently I need to be more clear because he never got the height... He says it 36" though but he managed to get the length and the width: 57"X44"

Dovii need alot of swimming space. You can do some grow outs in there but plan on getting a bigger tub.
