Dovii, Umbee, Black Nasty

being the fact that most 100 gals made are 6"x18" footprint, nobody would win- nobody could move and all would die within a week- full grown male dovii- over 24"- in wild even 30".- full grown male umbriferium- 24"+- full grown male odo- 16"ish- not only can they not turn around they can barely swim back and forth.- basically put yourself and 3 other 5-6' foot men in a 8'x3' box- see how well you do....

they wouldn't give a **** about the other fish in the tank IMo

Im guessing the umbee would win,,, because of the sheer size.. i think the dovii would be intimidated by the larger fish?

What made you think umbee would win? Dovii is the king of the cichlids. to my knowledge there is only one larger cichlid, the 'emperor' cichlid and is actually an african. They can grow to around 35-40", but Dovii's sheer craziness makes him more aggressive.
You will be very lucky to come across an emperor in a lfs, but you could not house it without a HUGE tank. Google it and see what u get, but there isnt much on them.

btw... peacock bass can also grow larger, but again are not as 'CRAZY' as Dovii

Dovii are just as large, if not larger than Umbee. I guess it would depend on the fish. A full grow 15 inch Black Nasty would hold his own.

full grown umbee can reach 28" dovii 24-26 Odo 18"
umbee hands down. but they couldnt even turn around in that little tank/now if you said a 240 or something like that, umbee

Not mine and I borrowed it from here..Umbee are LARGE!!!! At full sizes, umbee wins at 16" Haitensis and dovii win....

umbee and dovi are the 2 toughest, i heard people say that the umbee is tougher do to the way it is built........... this stuff use to intrest me, but now i dont care, i own a flower horn and he is sure to be a tank buster, meen sob,
