DOVII VS JAG

I have a dovii and jag in the same tank. The dovii is aggressive to all the fish lights on or off. My jag will defend itself if need be, but doesn't go out of its way to pick a fight

ya same with mine, it was the dominant one when the lights were on though. but if they were off the dovii was relentless i literally kept the lights on for weeks at a time

Dude, you are getting a tank for your dovii soon so just divide them until you get it... i would never give that jag away... Unless you have plans with the 135 keep that jag...

I wouldn't feel bad about getting rid of the jag. Nice jags are easy to find if bought from the right person. Same goes for dovii but dovii have a higher value in this hobby due to jag being over sold everywhere

This was like 6 7 months ago I got rid of the jag and Midas both. And apparently dividers don't work lol there was a period of time where I let my buddy house my dovii for a month until I found homes for the jag and dovii since his aggression kicked in. My buddy had a similair sized male umbee. The tank was divided and one day he comes home and finds the dovii on the umbees side lip locking. And i still have some festae grow outs so I'm
Not sure what I'm gonna do with the 135

That Jag is an stunner, I wouldnt get rid of him.

hope my jags turn out as nice as that one. i think they have potential. i was hoping to have a dovii/ jag mix, but i think my dovii is going to be a killer. i had to isolate it. it started to rip up the larger pbass it was with and it even tries to attack them through the plastic betta box i got the dovii in. meanest littlest fish i ever saw!

The guy who put this poor jag in is stupid. He left it in there until it died. As soon as I saw my guys fighting I moved the dovii to my buddies and found homes for the Midas and jag. I guys the jags already gone lol

He was a beauty of a jag. Bought him just on impulse. Worked out for a little while but had to let him go. Raised the dovii since he was one inch. And here a used 75 goes for atleast 250 300 minimum and I'm a student living at home lol. Soon as I get my own place I plan on having a dovii an umbee and a jag all with there own tanks. A Haitian too

IMO you should of ditched the Dovii and kept the other 2...especially the Jag
