Very nice fish, as usual.
As regards yout Q, by looking at the trimac and the synspillum, you seem to have a case of lymphocistis in the tank. The also called "cauliflower disease".
Can you take close up pics?

There is some like fungus and mould. After some time the mould dissappears and open scars left back. About syns he has no problem like this, the wound was from a fight and it is healled already.
