Mine got spotting on pair fins but they are blue spots not black is that what ur talking about?

Hello bud, if there's spotting in the paired fins it's male yes

Females will lack any spots in the unpaired fins and the will be totally clear.

No not 100% sure, more like 90%. At this size you should see more scattered spots and colouring in the fins and face. Could be a late bloomer as there are some spots in the paired fins

If you look through the previous posts with members advice on what to look for and different pics that people have posted it should help assist you in deciding on what you have.
