Dovii

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I think might be ok .I have a 7" female dovii and before i found out 'she' was a she.I was under the immpression she had to be kept solitary. The result was a very boring 100g with a fish i never saw because she hid all the time .But once i mixed her in a cichlid/hybrid community she did great ,is out in the open w/ the other fish and minimal fighting problems.I might be concerned for the aro though they can be big skittish targets for certain fish (thats been my limited experience w/ a silver aro though)

I would try it. If it works it would at more excitement to your tank. You would have to keep them well fed an good water quality.

thanks for all of the awesome info everyone!

You can't always rely on other peoples comments and past experiences you need to try it out for your self i'm afraid. But if i was able to offer any advice i'd say keep an eye on the Oscar they can be very terratorial lik emost Cichlids.

I think Im gonna go for it! The oscar really doesnt have the "this tank is mine" attitude, because it came out of another tank recently. I'm sure you will all hear if something goes wrong. Thanks again for the info!
