Chinchillas are supposed to be hard to keep? I had two when I was like 10 and completely took care of them myself for years with no issues. All I remember doing was feeding them, cleaning their cage, and occasionally giving them those dust bath things. What problems do they have?

They are more sensitive and easily stressed. They are harder to keep the the normal rodents like hamsters and gerbils. Its like u do the same basic things when keeping rays as any other fish but its a lot harder to keep them alive. I'm not keen on going into details so i will just leave it at that.

Chinchilla or any other big rodent stinks, they pee on everything. Fish all day man. Screw those rats 
I find this VERY hard to believe. you ask for opinions and when people give them to you, you tell them they are wrong and get all defensive. that kind of behavior isn't very conductive to a good relationship.
Dude, don't listen to the rubish. Give your girl the world. I have been with my wife for 15 years, we met and started dating when we were 14 & 15. Hold on to the "Puppy love" it never goes away. These simple things are something most people never get to experience because the find their love when they are older. My wife dosent enjoy my hobby really, but she loves me and anything I do. She says my aquariums (12 = over 700 gallons) are "pretty moving pictures". When you figure out that growing up with your spouse teaches you to include them in every aspect of your life together, you end up wiyh a happy life. Btw chinchillas are ***

Dude this girl may be the smartest 15 yr old ever. She is getting someone else to care for her pets and she still gets to come over and have all the fun with them? Smart little lady and she will be dangerous when she's older. Forget about all this "true love" nonsense.. She's smart.

You will see that the vast majority of people here are telling you that it is a BAD idea. You straight up asked for what people thought of your idea, and the people are telling you. It's a bad, bad idea. I agree with them that its a bad idea.
Now having said that, I know what its like to be 15 and to have a GF, and listening to adults with much more life experience then you telling you what to do is not very appealing. Especially when you think you got the situation under control. So I'm sure you're gonna do what you wanna do anyway. Good luck with whatever you decide.
