Thank you djvue for your info. That 's exactly what i have in mind, so you have a crystal ball and let me borrow some day :) . I really need some helps on cleaning my tank, 'cause it gets dirty very quick. I was thinking about BN pleco, but hard to hide around here and cost more. mostly lfs i see common, tiger and CAE, but don't like them. There is a place selling flash fleco and thinking pick 1 or 2 on the way home from work.

:D
Yeah, just dont go for the common ones since they become super large.
Flash plecos seem like they'll work. Just dont know how well they clean.

Big black thing in discus does not look good at all. I just picked up 3 Flash pleco this morning from 1 of member MFK. From what I read online, they love wood, sand and none aggressive.

I hope so and will be there for long time. I have changed water 2 times a week and notice my 2.5" blue discus have not eaten for couple days. i think i scare it, but not sure. It does not hide all the time, it school the others but not very active. the tummy looks full, but have not seen it eaten when i am feeding. This makes me a little concern, does anyone have any ideas?????

PS: I aged water for at least 24hrs and use seachem stability. is it ok?

Well, I'd probably just up the water changes a bit. Maybe 25%-50% once a day (which technically you should be doing for juvies anyway) for a week or so.

Test your water. chances are it may be the ammonia. remember your tank is max'd in stock and isnt 100% cycled, so theres a fair chance that ammonia will rise fast.

as long as your fish look full dont worry too much, just keep an eye on them.
Raising the temp a lil bit helps boost their metabolism too.

OMG, i thought 2 times wc a week is good enought. This is harder than i thought. I guess i have to increase it to see what happen. I just changed it yesterday and i'll test the water today (usually i wait for 24hrs to test it after wc).

fyi: my tank is fully cycled, i posted earlier i believe.

Thank you jdvue and have a great day :)

i did 50% wc and tested ammonia 0, nitrite 0 and nitrate 10 and it still not doing any better. Here are some pics, sorry for the quality of phone camera.

Thank you BodyDub for following up. No sign getting better or worst. I use 1 tbl spoon and increase 2 tbl spoon tomorrow.

I maybe late to the party, but why are you using salt? I only use salt to speed up recovery..........
