Dragon fish(violet goby?) Diet and feeding.

I just bought a dragon fish from Walmart andam curious on what to feed it. I have tetracolor color boosting granules that sink to the bottom. Will they be okay? I read that these fish have large mouths and small throats so I thought the granules would do well. Has anybody had nay cases where the fish would eat pellets floating on the surface? I fees me jack Dempsey cochlid and rtc a mixture of hikari cichlid gold and hikari cichlid growth formula on top of frozen brine shrimp and live zebra danios. I don't see my dragon eating any feeders just yet if ever. Please comment, thanks!

Is it a dragon goby? If so they are brackish water fish. And I wouldn't keep a goby like that in a tank with a rtc bc he's gonna suck him up like a piece of spaghetti

they are filter feeders they pickup bottom substrate and get small food pieces from it and spit it back out dont eat feeders to my knowledge but i could be wrong.i have one violet goby about 8 inches
