I've had my dragon (aka Violet gobie) for over 4 yrs, and it is 12.5 inches long ( it was about 5 inches long when I got it). Mine eats a mixture of shrimp pellets, algae wafers, brine shrimp, flake food and blood worms. I've actually seen it take a whole algae wafer in its mouth and basicly "suck" on it till it was gone. It has never eatten any of its tank mates but has snapped at a couple that were being too pushy.
And it is (Yes, I know I'll catch grief over this) in fresh water.
