Dragon keepers...would this work???

All kept in a 60x24x22 tank???
I dont see why it wouldnt work but iv never kept arowana before so id be grateful for your advice???

silvers will outgrow that tank at about 2 years old but the fish should get along just fine unless you hvae overly aggressive fish

you will need a tnak at least 3' wide in order to kee;p a silver for life but even bigger is always better

Ok thanks man..so you dont think the uaru and geos would become aro food???
The aro id be getting is only about 4", what is the growth rate like?

my silvers dont try and kill my smaller fish and i have a 6" senegalus in with them that always swims in their face it really depends on the fish just dont feed live feeders and you silvers wont get used to chasing their food

aros grow fareely fast i would worry about the uaru picking at you aro or even the flagtails picking at him just make sure that he gets enought to eat

i would say that the growth rate can be from 1/2" to 2" per month depending on genetics and diet

Im not 100% going for the aro, was just looking for some opinions before i decided!

get it just make sure that you have a home for it when it is big i would take him but you are across the pond from me

Actually, fei fengs are a really good tankmate for aro's, but I wouldn't put your uaru in there though. Maybe have some silver barbs in there.
