Dragon keepers...would this work???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i keep uaru fernandies and a uaru amp in with my RTG with no problems at all i even have a 4.5'' geo in there for a few months and have had some 2-3'' cory's for a couple of weeks although these are going when i go to the lfs next.

im keeping uarus with my black aro and so far so good. there are a few fish with it that could be lunch, but they are left alone.

Jardinis grow at a much slower rate than Silvers, and I think they max out at 18-24" vs. 24-36" for Silvers. Also, Jardinis tend to utilize more levels of the aquarium (top and middle) vs. Silvers which just tend to stay at the top level. Hence, I think you can get away with a smaller volume tank (125 gal) with a Jardini vs. Silvers (180 gal and up).

Actually, fei fengs are a really good tankmate for aro's, but I wouldn't put your uaru in there though. Maybe have some silver barbs in there.

id have to agree. silvers dont usually hurt their tankmates as long as they grow up with them especially but not so sure about the uaru though

that should work out fine just size the uarus up with the arrow

I think it'd work out alright, especially if they are raised together. I'd be more worried about upgrading the tank.
