Piranha45, for being a Giant Snakehead fan, the most largest and aggressive predator among all Channa species, the shark of the fresh water but I call the T-Rex of the fresh water! I obviously have seen those pictures of a Wolf fish biting a young Giant Snakehead's tail off, even a little more of its body. This Wolf fish :
Common Name(s):
Wolf Fish; Mud Characin; Tiger Fish
Family:
Erthrinidae
Origin:
South America
Max Size:
20"
pH:
Neutral
Temp:
72-77 F.
Tank Size:
85 Gallons
Feeding:
Carnivorous
Amazing fish it is, but in my opinion about the damage that had occured to the young Giant Snakehead in those two pictures shows the Wolf fish did kick that young Giant Snakehead's ass, poor young Giant Snakehead..so young those two black lines on both sides of its body are still there, it shows how young the Giant Snakehead really was, if you consider that Giant Snakehead big, well that is the Giant Snakehead.
In my opinion, if you would want to see their true strength and abilities, put an adult Giant Snakehead and an adult Wolf fish together and let's see what happens. If the Wolf fish kicks the adult Giant Snakehead's ass still, I'll admit a Wolfish can kick a Giant Snakehead's ass no matter what a reputation the Giant Snakehead has. A Wolf fish's maximum size is 20 inches but a Giant Snakehead can grow up to 5 feet in length. So that Giant Snakehead there was still considered a little boy or a girl.
And Evilfish, thank you for the news!

there are a lot that can be said about the Giant Snakehead, you can check the All About The Giant Snakehead thread in the Other Monster Fish Forum.
